Wrabacon Inc., celebrates 25 years of providing automation and custom product handling to a variety of industries. In 1986 two senior corporate engineers determined there was a need for a company to provide custom product handling and automation to the food, packaging and consumer goods markets. Both engineers with a combined 60 years of experience founded Wrabacon Inc., in a small garage in Oakland Maine. With just two employees Wrabacon provided custom solutions in automation and product handling. Many of the solutions were manufactured in stainless steel to meet the demands of the food and packaging industries.

After several years of growth Wrabacon moved to a larger facility in Oakland Maine. With this move came the addition of CAD/CAM and a small team of electrical engineers. The addition of an electrical controls team allowed Wrabacon to design and build custom control programs and software for its machines and product handling solutions.

At the end of the 1990's Wrabacon had outgrown its rented building in Oakland, purchased a parcel of land and built its present manufacturing facility at 150 Old Waterville Road.

Today Wrabacon has become a leading supplier of conveyor systems, merging/diverting equipment, tray and container denesting and stacking machines, pick and place systems and a variety of custom automated product handling solutions. Many machines and conveyors are built in stainless steel to meet the demands of food safety and the demands of sanitation in today's food and packaging plants.

With a dedicated staff of engineers and production people we are ready to provide you with a solution to your product handling needs.
